Operation
Loadout systems are centrally located within the facility and use a combination of specialized conveyors to carry metal chips to and from cutting operations or other related filtration equipment.
The metal chips then go through loadout system to be deposited in a roll-off conveyor or gondola for organized scrap recycling.
- Wringers can be installed to reclaim oils or coolants that are stuck on the metal chips.
- Truck loadout conveyors can be installed to properly distribute metal chips to almost the entire truck bed and eliminate "coning".
- Centralized dump stations can safely combine smaller chip carts to larger tuggable gondolas that fit into the conveyance system.
- Fluidized transport systems can also be used in conjunction to move chips over large distances.
